*************** EXCLUSIONS: ***************
ANY EVIDENCE OF NEGLECT, INJURY OR ABUSE (IN BREEDER'S OR VETERINARIAN'S OPINION) WILL VOID WARRANTY.HEALTH GUARANTEE IS
VOID IF GLIDERS/GERBILS ARE HOUSED WITH OTHER ANIMALS. GLIDERS/GERBILS CANNOT LIVE WITH ANY OTHER PETS due to varying dietary
requirements which can be fatal to GLIDERS/GERBILS. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS will void warranty . Young
GLIDERS & GERBILS are prone to stomach upsets when presented with abrupt changes in feed. We feed a very high fiber feed
and changing their feed too quickly can cause wet tail and death. All GLIDERS/GERBILS are sent with a few days supply of our
feed which will allow time to obtain more of the same feed or to mix with a feed available locally. Always measure feed and
serve fresh daily. Basic ADULT RATION: 1 TBL nightly plus 5 nights a week add fresh food. Also for joeys/gliders use 1 tea
plus fresh food. If you must change feed we recommend mixing equal parts of original feed, Old Fashioned Quaker Oats and new
feed. Gradually increase new feed and decrease original feed. Any sign of wet tail indicates poor tolerance of new feed. Withdraw
new feed and replace with Quaker Oats until stools return to normal. Then reintroduce mixed feed gradually.
PRICING POLICY
Every breeder has their own method of pricing and we are no exception.
Our prices range from $10.oo to $75.oo for rescued GLIDERS/GERBILS but they are to specific homes. We only place them in
homes that have owned GLIDERS or Gerbils before and we feel that the appropriate placements for these animals. Some of the
rescues have special needs, special attitudes and many more are simply big babies that require lots of attention warranties
do not apply on rescues. Where we place these animals is strictly up to me based on interview with prospective owner.
The balance of our pricing is based on what it costs to raise an animal. We do not discriminate between "pet quality" and
show quality. It costs the same to raise a homely GLIDER/GERBIL as it does to raise a show stopper (purchase price of breeding
stock not withstanding). When I began in GLIDERS/GERBILS other breeders would raise the price if they thought you were a breeder
and I felt it very unfair so I refuse to manipulate my prices. It is what it is. Take it or leave it. I will not apologize
for my prices nor subject them to debate. I also feel that unless there is some investment in price, a pet becomes an expendable
commodity.
Our pricing includes the following:
Healthy, social stock that has been handled since birth if it is a Joey or baby Jird
Written and verbal instructions for care.
Telephone or personal consultation on care and health issues for the life of the glider/ gerbil.
Health guarantee within certain limitations
Typical prices begin at $10.oo for (gerbils) and $150.oo for (sugar gliders) and go as high as $3000.oo because they are
more difficult to breed and are difficult to anticipate Mothering abilities from litter to litter.
Imported lines are priced from $340 to $3000.oo due to higher initial
breeding and import fees and require far more cage space, time, effort and grooming to develop the line as required by the
proposed U.S. Standard. We do not raise them "to get rich quick" but do intend to hold the price. We had to sell other production
animals in order to make room for these guys and the pricing reflects the loss of revenue for those animals. We do offer some
discounts to serious breeders on pairs and trios.
